Samsung has announced the will release two more sizes of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, but when will they be release?

Samsung has just released information for an additional 8-inch and a 10.1-inch tablet joining their already popular Galaxy Tab line.  They have already released the 7-inch model.

In their announcement today, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Tab 3 models in the new sizes.

It is possible that the 8-inch Galaxy Tab 3 is ion response to the popular Google Nexus 7 and iPad Mini.  This version of the Galaxy Tab 3 features a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and a 1280×800-pixel HD screen, and runs on Android 4.2, Also know as Jelly Bean.  The 8-ionch model will also include a front-shooting, 1.3 megapixel camera and a rear-facing 5 megapixel camera.

The larger 10.1-inch model will feature a 1.6GHz dual-core Intel processor, a 1280×800-pixel HD  screen, a 1.3 megapixel camera in front and a 3 megapixel camera on its rear.

The Smaller 8-inch model will be available in either a 16GB or 32GB model, and will be able to support up to a 64GB MicroSD Card, with 1.5GB of Ram.  The 10.1-inch model comes with the same storage options but with 1GB of RAM.

Samsung has stated that the 10.1-inch and the 8-inch Galaxy Tab 3 models will be available worldwide at the beginning of June.  Both of the new versions of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 models will eventually be available in Wi-Fi, 3G or 4G options.
